Ministerial Ethics is a powerful message for EVERY GENUINE CHRISTIAN. http://cross.tv/86057 (audio). It should be taught in every Bible College all over the world, listened to over and over again, and should be shared with others within and outside ministry. Lear how run your ministry above reproach.
As Christians we must always keep Jesus on the throne of our hearts and we must always ask ourselves, "What would Jesus do it in our day to day decisions. God's timing is perfect, we must plan our life around it, God has standards and demands his people to walk in impeccable integrity as His ambassadors. How in the world can the child of God truly make a difference in for Christ in this broken world unless we individually live the difference and live a life that honors God whether people are looking at us or not. We ALL must remember that NOBODY gets away with anything; the Holy Spirit of God will always correct us "IF" we truly belong to Him by making Jesus THE LORD (owner). In a day when Christ's ministers and saints a falling into sin and compromise, there is no message that is more timely and more important than Ministerial Ethics. Again, it is a subject that ought to be taught in every Church and every Bible College.
Christians would not be falling into sin if they truly fell in love in Jesus and allowed the Holy Spirit to fill them, direct them, and give them such a love and hunger for God's word that it become every bit apart of their new life in Christ Jesus. It's now time for the entire body of Christ to repent, turn around, forsake the "ME - MINE - MORE" gospel and start once more preaching the gospel of the kingdom where Jesus Christ is truly the King who rules on the inside of all those who have humbled themselves and call him their messiah. Messiah means that Jesus Christ is not only Savior; He is the all-compassing ruler, Highest Authority and owner over everything we have and are. After all that's why we call him Lord. If Jesus is ultimately not our Lord, because we are just doing our own thing with the rest of this pagan fallen world, then he cannot be (as of right now) your Savior.
An excerpt from "The Jesus Revolution Anthem"
"A persons' own rebellion, stubbornness, and pride chains them to the mountain of sin and lives of compromise in disguise and seals their fate after the curtain of their eyes falls on the stage of their life and the only applause is their last breath and final heart beat. Then suddenly they leave their earth seat, and this life becomes like a mere dream used only to reflect the condition of each man's and woman's heart before entrance into the heavenly reception. A devil on earth will be a devil in heaven, and this life on earth is only a test to prevent yet another rebellion, and to find out where your allegiance will eternally rest in. Don't get caught up with the deception of mundane props your culture puts up, your position with Christ is what life's all about." - H. Maurice Harrell, Jr
The evidence of a Holy Spirit filled life is a Holy Life; a life that takes up its cross and follows Jesus daily. It's time for every disciple of Christ to become the real thing. Its time we become the hands and feet of Jesus in this sick, blind, heartless, dying world. Only when your life is wholly aligned under the Lordship of Jesus Christ will you be able to live a life of conviction and have allowed His lead you and empower you can you make a difference of eternal significance.
